Amboy Street Co-Leads Nest Health's Series A with 8VC and BVF

Amboy Street Ventures invests in Nest Health's $22.5M+ Series A round to advance value-based whole-family care for underserved populations.

Amboy Street Ventures is proud to announce that we co-led the Series A financing of Nest Health, a New Orleans–based company redefining primary care for women and children on Medicaid through in-home and virtual whole-family care. We led alongside 8VC and Blue Venture Fund with participation from Socium Ventures, Impact America Fund, Hopelab, University Growth Fund, Alumni Ventures, and others. With this fresh funding, Nest will expand its footprint, deepen clinical offerings, and harness AI to deliver more personalized, timely, and family-based interventions directly in the home.

Medicaid serves nearly 58 million women and children, populations disproportionately impacted by social determinants of health such as food insecurity, housing instability, and limited access to care. Without consistent primary or preventive care, families face higher rates of emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and chronic disease—driving up costs and worsening outcomes.

Nest addresses this gap by bringing whole-family care directly into the home. The Nest model integrates primary and preventive medical services, maternal and pediatric care, mental and behavioral health, and social support. Families benefit from 24/7 access to clinical support, wraparound virtual care, and care coordination that reduces barriers and ensures timely, comprehensive support. Their model not only improves clinical outcomes but also reduces churn, helping families maintain coverage and continuity of care even as eligibility rules shift, and helping plans retain their members.

“Our thesis has always been about backing founders and models that don’t just patch the system but reimagine it entirely. Nest fits this vision perfectly,” said Carli Sapir, Founding Partner at Amboy Street Ventures. “Nearly half of postpartum women and children on Medicaid miss recommended care, and Nest is closing that gap with a model that meets families where they are. Their outcomes are among the strongest we’ve seen in value-based care. Amboy Street Ventures is thrilled to support Nest.”

Nest is led by visionary co-founders Dr. Rebekah Gee and Rebecca Kavoussi, both seasoned leaders in health policy and Medicaid operations. Their proven expertise, paired with an unwavering commitment to equity, sets the foundation for a model that can deliver meaningful change at scale.

"Care starts at home, where trust is built," said Dr. Rebekah Gee, Founder and CEO of Nest Health. "Our care model meets families where they are and walks with them through every step of their health journey, so no one is left behind."

Nest Health is one of ASV’s growing portfolio of brands pioneering women’s health and sexual health solutions alongside Evvy, a vaginal biome testing and care company; Contraline, the maker of male birth control; and Alloy Women’s Health, a leading menopause telehealth platform.
